These buttery garlic potatoes are tossed with Parmesan goodness and roasted to crisp-tender perfection!
My title is Chung-Ah and I am a carboholic.
Yes, something that has an extra quantity of carbs – I’m in. I’ll skip over the most excellent rib. The fried chicken. Just move me those potatoes and let’s name it a day.
I kid you not. You’ll overlook all about that juicy steak whilst you're taking a chunk of those potatoes. These crisp mushy potatoes smothered in melted butter, Parmesan cheese and nicely seasoned with aromatic herbs.
And perhaps a bit little bit of more Parmesan cheese proper on top.


These buttery garlic potatoes are tossed with Parmesan goodness and roasted to crisp-tender perfection!


  • 3 kilos red potatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan
  • Kosher salt and freshly floor black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley leaves


  1. Preheat oven to 400 ranges F. Lightly oil a baking sheet or coat with nonstick spray.
  2. Place potatoes in one layer onto the ready baking sheet. Add olive oil, garlic, thyme, oregano, basil and Parmesan; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Gently toss to combine.
  3. Place into oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or till golden brown and crisp. Stir in butter till melted, about 1 minute.
  4. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, if desired.
