But umm, comfortable Wednesday!! I am so excited for on the moment simply due to the fact I am again within the kitchen cooking. Yes! I spent Monday and Tuesday catching up on pc work (ugh) simply due to the fact I had folks finishing up in my kitchen and photograph room. They had been finishing the last coat of paint and different miscellaneous things, which intended no cooking for me. I can't even count the last day I didn’t prepare dinner for nearly the general day. With Christmas and New Years, I’ve truthfully been cooking for 3 weeks instantly – and quite a lot all of December too. My new kitchen certainly got a nice exercise though, especially over Christmas.

Oh my gosh, I was tired, but trust it or not, I nonetheless hated sitting and staring at my pc display all day long.

Oh, and I also spent a respectable portion of my Monday evening time pulling my brother’s pals big trailer filled with snowmobiles out of my driveway. Yup, I didn’t even know I had it in me, but seemingly I am quite nice at getting folks unstuck. Even if their trailer is the largest I even have ever considered they usually don’t have snow tires (ahh..yes). Who doesn’t have snow tires up proper correct here (his buddy IS from Michigan though)? And yes, I do have five brothers…wonder the position the heck they were?

And again to those Cuban hen and black bean quinoa bowls, simply due to the fact my rambling is making me tired.

Doesn’t this simply seem to be so quite and delicious? I assume so, especially the delicious part. So many nice flavors, so many textures. Besides being a style freak, I am also a texture freak, so here is absolutely my variety of bowl.

Plus, hello! Cuban food. YUM!


Now I discover there are a reasonable quantity of steps to this recipe. DO NOT let this scare you off. I won't lie, those bowls take a bit of time, but nothing is that difficult and also you make them on your liking. INGREDIENTS


CHICKEN

1 teaspoon cumin
3 cloves garlic minced or grated
1 red chile seeded
good pinch of pepper
3/4 cup + 1/4 orange juice divided
the juice of four limes + 1 lime zested
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 cup cilantro
1 pound boneless hen breast cut into chunk dimension pieces
2 tablespoons butter
BLACK BEANS + QUINOA
2 tablespoons olive oil

1 onion chopped
1 red pepper chopped
1 1/2 cups dry quinoa
2 cups cooked black beans rinsed + tired if utilizing canned
2 cloves garlic minced or grated
salt and pepper to taste
BANANAS + MANGOS
2 bananas sliced + chili powder if desired
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 mango diced
1 red chile seeded + chopped
1/2 of one lime juiced
1/4 cup contemporary cilantro chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

To a blender, upload the cumin, 3 cloves garlic, red chile, pinch of pepper, 3/4 cup orange juice, lime juice + lime zest, honey, soy sauce and cilantro.
